Volkswagen has important ambitions for its BlueMotion range and this is why the automotive producer is using every possible occasion to showcase its eco line-up. The next appearance of the eco-friendly VWs is scheduled to take place at the EcoVelocity, the low-carbon automotive event that will be held at Battersea Power Station, London, between September 8 and 11.
The attendees will be able to test multiple eco VW cars, as the company wants the public to get up close and personal with these vehicles. One of the most interesting vehicles that will be available to test are the Touareg Hybrid and the Scirocco BlueMotion Technology.
“We’re delighted to have Volkswagen at EcoVelocity as it is one of the game-changing brands that really started the movement towards no-compromise ultra-low carbon motoring. Its BlueMotion range set the industry benchmark and we look forward to getting a further insight into their ground-breaking technology at EcoVelocity in September,” said Giles Brown, EcoVelocity Director.
In addition to that, the automotive producer has prepared surprises for people who don’t have a driving license, as the company is determined to offer the public a special experience.
“Those without a driving license will still be able to engage with BlueMotion Technologies on the Volkswagen stand, which features an interactive touchscreen experience and the ‘rollercoaster,’ which takes visitors on a journey of discovery into the innovations which reduce fuel consumption and emissions,” a company statement reads.
