Visteon C-Beyond Concept Car at the Paris Auto Show

It has become somewhat of a habit for automotive industry suppliers to showcase their products on real vehicles, as those visiting their stands can get a better idea and understanding of the technologies, materials and inner working of the goods being displayed. After last week Valeo announced it will be bringing a concept vehicle at the Paris Auto Show next week, American supplier Visteon announces it too will do the same. Their car will be the C-Beyond, a real life display of the 40 technologies in climate and interior systems being manufactured by the company. Visteon will use the car to show the public technologies like advanced connectivity, the vertical air flow concept, interior ambiance and exterior and lighting features. This is not the first public appearance of the car, as it has already been displayed, together with the technologies featured in it, in countries in Europe and Asia. The North American continent will get a taste of the C-Beyond in 2011. "We are delighted with the positive responses from our customers that confirm our new technology concepts address future consumer trends and needs," said Steve Meszaros, Visteon product group president. "These concepts are designed to inspire vehicle manufacturers to 'see beyond' the conventional role of the vehicle to create an innovative user experience enabled by Visteon's technology and advanced development." autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Paris Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
