Vision SZR Struggling to Enter Production

More and more supercars have been announced lately, but not all these exuberant creations make it into the real world. We are here now to talk about the Vision SZR, a muscle car from the 21st century (in the words of the company).
The Vision company was created in 1997, with the first car being released one year after that. After years of efforts, the SZR prototype came to the world in 2005. This was a promising development, using a 6.0 liter V12 delivering 700 hp. In 2007, the vehicle received a supercharged 6.2-liter Chevy V8 engine with 630 hp alongside the aforementioned unit, and was dressed in the PPG Vibrance pearl orange shade you see here.

The car uses carbon fiber (for the body) and aluminum (for the chassis) in order to tip the scales 2,875 lbs for the heavier V12-powered version, which should allow it to play the 0to 62 mph (96 km/h) game in less than three seconds.

Now, a new Youtube video (released by Done in 60 Seconds) focused on the SZR was released, indicating that the Californian speed machine is still going to make it into production.

In order to understand the difficulties of such a project, we have to mention that the SZR costed $2 million to make. Since the development has got this far, there are many chances for the car to come to our world, but all we can do for now is hope.
