Vin Diesel Gets Emotional at Teen Choice Awards, Shouts Out to Paul Walker’s Daughter

It’s quite difficult to stay in shape, and things get a lot harder when it comes to staying in fashion. That’s probably why Vin Diesel got all emotional the other day at this year’s Teen Choice Awards show when he along his fellow actors received an honor for Furious 7.

It’s hard to tell whether Paul Walker is Furious 7 or Furious 7 is Paul Walker, but one thing is clear the Fast and Furious actor is being missed by his fellows. Vin Diesel already refers to him as his brother, and reminding everybody of his legacy has almost become a way of starting every speech.

“I can’t stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about someone very, very, very important to us. One of the best blessings in our lives is the fact that we can call ‘Pablo’ our brother. Paul Walker is her in spirit with us,” said the co-producer of the latest Fast and Furious installment.

Every such speech brings tears to the saga’s fans, clearly, and it’s only natural for that to happen. There’s something else to it, though, and we can’t help but noticing. All the emotional stuff will most likely help with the tickets once the next movie kicks in too. Hey, don’t get us wrong, we’re sure Vin Diesel is a great guy, not just a successful actor; he actually wants to make this world a better place.

We’re just saying there may be some marketing to all this excitement, maybe coming from the studios promoting the films. It sure helps with the cars Paul Walker drove throughout the movies. Most of his rides being sold at auctions fetched quite impressive numbers and we don’t expect that to change anytime soon. Getting back to the Teen Choice Awards, we’d need to mention that Walker also posthumously won the Choice Action/Adventure Actor category.
