Another era dawns as iconic cruiser manufacturer Victory Motorcycles and Akrapovic, one of the biggest names in aftermarket exhausts shake hands to offer customers a new level of customization and high-performance upgrades. Akrapovic announces an all new line-up of products designed and developed especially for the Victory cruisers.
These new exhausts are easy-to-install, slip-on silencers which seamlessly replace the stock exhausts, and have been engineered to comply with the tech specs of the Freedom 106/6 engines. Since the Freedom 1,731cc v-twin power plant is shared by multiple bikes in Victory’s roster, a greater number of customers will now be able to upgrade their machines with the latest Akrapovic exhausts.

Installing the new Akra silencers on cruisers powered by the Freedom 106 engine comes with a significant weight saving of 4.3 kg (9.5 lb) and a torque increase of 4.2 Nm (3.2 lb-ft) over the factory exhausts. The new cans will be available in both deep chrome and satin black finishes, and will fit the Freedom 106-equipped bikes model year 2008 and up, including the 2015 line-up.

Victory and Akrapovic will introduce their newest products, such as 2015 model year bikes and the new silencers at the Intermot fair which kicks off this week in Cologne, Germany. Victory Motorcycles’ stand has number A068 B069, in Hall 6.1 at Intermot.

If you are already thinking of getting a new exhaust system, for your 106 cui Victory, you’d better check your bank account, as these beauties don’t come cheap. The Victory press release specifies an rather blunt €1,450 ($1,845) price tag.
