We all know how a set of rims can radically change a car's appearance, provided the choice is made with a decent amount of taste.
Speaking of which, here's what Vibe Motorsports had in store for a random 2014 Lexus RC350 F-Sport in terms of "shoes".
The rims go by the name of RSR R-802, with RSR standing for "Road, Street, Race" and the company feels this is what customers want for their cars.
“Enthusiasts are looking to up their ‘street smarts’ through accessories that can authentically provide performance enhancing capabilities for their cars – our new 800 ‘Street’ series are wheels that not only look good and aggressive, but offer the strength and performance that exceed the visual standards,” said Bill Koenig, executive vice president of sales for parent company MKW and RSR.
So, in order to illustrate that, they took the Lexus R350 F-Sport, threw a set of R-802 wheels and voila, they came up with the cosmetic treatment you see in the picture above.
Now, something about the rims. RSR’s R-802 20x9 and 20x10.5 wheels are provided with a Hyper Black finish, and their manufacturing process implies using a flow form manufacturing technique that takes a cast aluminum wheel and lightens it by 30 percent.
Since this is a matter of subjectiveness, we'll leave you with the photo gallery to decide whether the new set of rims fit the car's character and boost its appearance. However, on a personal note, we'd like to add that we think the car is looking sexier sitting on those wheels. But then again, it's just our opinion.
