French champagne house Veuve Clicquot teamed up with Ferrari to launch a limited-edition Champagne set. Each set is composed of three handmade gift boxes dressed-in the same leather Ferrari uses in the interior of their sportscars and only 20 were created worldwide.
Ever wondered what a Ferrari owner would drink with his lady? Well, Veuve Clicquot could make for a good answer. Named the Veuve Clicquot Maranellor Edition Set, it is a limited-edition champagne set made for the connoisseurs. The gold label bottles come dressed in the same handcrafted leather used in Ferrari car interiors and include a uniquely numbered plaque engraved by Arthus Bertrand.

The bottles are packed in lacquered wooden boxes whose colors each stand for one of Ferrari’s three Tailor Made universes - the Scuderia (red), Inedita (grey), and Classica (blue). Ferrari claims the Tailor Made program continues the Maranello tradition from the 1950s and 1960s when clients personalized their cars, resulting in truly unique vehicles tailored to suit the desires of each owner.

Like a lot of these exclusive products are, the three-bottle set is also among the ones created for charity. The proceeds from the sale will benefit the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Foundation. The CFDA and Veuve Clicquot are long-time friends and partners, as the French champagne maker celebrates the fashion industry and CFDA’s efforts to expand, educate and grow the industry in the United States.

As you probably already figured out, the money one pays for these types of products won’t come cheap. The 20 sets were created for a suggested retail price of $10,000 and only one was available in U.S. through Charity Buzz. The auction recently closed.
