Sebastian Vettel won Sunday’s Grand Prix in Bahrain, finishing ahead of Kimi Raikkonen. With the first four races of the championship being won by different drives, it seems that the thrill and suspense of F1 may be returning.
From pole position, Vettel made a very good start and was almost 10 seconds ahead after 8 laps. He was followed by Kimi Raikkonen who, having started further down the grid in 11th place, did an excellent job of clawing back positions and by the 10th lap he was already in 3rd place.

This result places Sebastian Vettel ahead of the other drivers as he currently has 53 points, followed by Lewis Hamilton with 49 points and Mark Webber with 48 points respectively.

In the constructors’ championship, Red Bull Racing-Renault leads the pack with a total of 101 points after four races, being closely followed by McLaren with 92 points and Lotus-Renault with 57 points. Ferrari is off to a less than convincing start to the season having won only one GP thanks to Fernando Alonso’s efforts in Malaysia. They are lagging behind in the constructors’ championship, acquiring only 45 points which place them in 4th position - not a very convincing start to the season.
