We count among those who like the Vespa scooters, with all their classic, retro styling and huge heritage. And we also like their new GTV 300 ie model because it looks great and we know riding it will doubtlessly be a thrilling and fun experience. The 2013 Vespa GTV 300 ie evokes the styling of the early models, especially with the fender-mounted headlight and two-piece dual seat. Chromed luggage racks adorn both ends of the scooter and can come in quite handy when shopping in the city.
The massive 278cc catalyzed 4-stroke injected engine produces no less than 21 hp and a very useful 22.3 Nm (16.4 lb-ft) torque, being capable to offer an 80 mph (just under 129 km/h). Thanks to the automatic clutch and transmission, the Vespa GTV 300 ie is easy to operate: just twist the throttle and pull away.
Single-sided suspension is complemented by disc brakes for dependable stopping force and the 2.4 gal (9.1 L) is enough for up to 168 miles (270 km). But in the end, you'd probably be very wealthy or a diehard Vespa fan to fork out this much money...
