A ’66 Chrysler 300 that’s listed as a very rare barn find is now up for grabs from the Facebook Marketplace, and the seller says the car has had just one owner since it left the factory.
What’s more, the Chrysler 300 is still in running condition thanks to a series of improvements that have been made lately, including new spark plugs, wires, water pump, radiator, and fuel pump with filter, so the engine works just as you’d expect it to work.

The gas tank was flushed and sealed with new hoses and fuel sending unit. All the brake system was replaced including the hoses, brake booster, and master cylinder, new tires, factory working A/C. all the electrical system works including headlights, taillights, and everything is functioning like supposed to,” the owner explains in the ad published on Facebook.

The car is powered by a 383ci (6.3-liter) V8 engine that is paired to an automatic transmission and has 68,000 miles (109,435 km) on the clock.

It still features the factory bucket seats and the center console, and it’s ready to become a daily driver with the proper restoration job.

The owner says his Chrysler can serve as the perfect project car given it can be easily restored.

The vehicle does need a full restoration; so if you’re looking for a father-son project or you want to relive your memories of driving the car that you used to have back in the day, this is one of a kind, very rare find,” they say.

The ’66 Chrysler 300 doesn’t come cheap, but it’s not super-expensive either. It costs only $8,000, and the owner explains that they have all receipts and papers that are required for the car. Clearly, this is indeed a rare find, so you know what you have to do if you’re interested in giving it a second start at life.
