Unveiled at this year’s Top Marques in Monaco, Dutch supercar Vencer Sarthe will make its UK debut at the Salon Prive 2013, scheduled to take place from September 4 through September 6.
Built on a light aluminum spaceframe using carbon fiber body panels, the Sarthe weighs only 1,390 kilograms (3,064 pounds) and takes its power from a 6.2-liter V8 engine which delivers 510 HP and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque.
Sent to the ground through a six-speed manual gearbox, the great amount of power allows the Vencer to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in only 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 326 km/h (203 mph).
Named after the track where the 24 Hours of Le Mans is taking place each year, the Vencer Sarthe will have a starting price of €265,000 plus taxes. The Dutch company will build about 10 to 15 examples a year.
