The velvet-wrap trend has taken the vinyl wrapping world by storm in the last couple of years, with examples from Ferrari models to everything -including smart fortwos - spreading like mushrooms after a fresh spring rain all over the world.
Despite the ever-increasing sightings of cars wearing it, we have never seen a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG sporting a velvet wrap, making us think that the modern Gullwing had managed to somehow circumvent the trend.
Apparently, we were wrong, as the above photo is so eloquently depicting. The photo was taken by the Thecarhotel Photography recently somewhere in Frankfurt, Germany, where it hasn't started snowing yet.
We say this because we're actually very curious about how the velvet-like wrap will survive what has been announced as one of the harshest European winters in recent history.
