The Veldt Helmet Company offers a solid online helmet configuration that lets you design your own style lid using tons of colors, graphics, stickers, and trim. But that’s not all; you can also select between ECE or DOT certification (or none if you like to live dangerously) as well as the type of helmet.

The simple Veldt Mark I open face helmet starts at $430 and weighs only 900 g (1.9 lb) as it’s made from carbon fiber. From here, you can add your graphics and colors as well as specify what material the interior should be and even the strap color.

Add a simple visor, and your helmet starts at $500. Swap it only for a chin bar and that price changes to $570. Add the visor back to create a full face helmet, and you’re looking at a $660 starting price. Depending on your choices from here on, you can spend as much as $1,700 for a helmet you can brag you designed yourself.

After settling for the helmet’s shape, you have around 68 shades to chose from and they come in glossy, matte, metallic, glitter or foil type. You can add a secondary color as a fade or other graphics and even a clear lacquer to expose the carbon fiber underneath.

Things can go even wilder if you want. Veldt’s Special Order program lets you add any other graphing you like to your helmet, be it your favorite motorcycle brand, a pic of your pet or your grandma. The only limit is your imagination.
