Envisioned by British film director James Brown, Vauxhall’s new video brings out the rock and roll nostalgic in you. Starring gorgeous blond model Abbey Clancy, the short clip is a true masterpiece of great mixture, where music, sensuality and attitude embrace the style of the country small car.
You guys probably already know all about Vauxhall’s Adam Rock mini-crossover. This time, however, we’re looking at a showcase of the company’s latest edition to the Adam range, its maker calls Adam Rocks Air. We’re guessing the air has something to do with the hatch through which the rock star in the video is taking his guitar.

The film is supposed to envision the raw essence of rock and roll, which Vauxhall calls the free spirit characters that use fashion as a form of expression, mode of creative freedom and a means to push boundaries.

Translation: two beautiful models and an afro-haired rockstar acting all cool and famous. The three dress and undress (or was it the other way?) and end up in the car heading to a local bar, where they're about to perform.

Abbey Clancy was a groupie in real life

The video has one of the first Adam Rocks Air models featuring in the film ahead of its recent September release. The blond model is also wearing a custom-made Adam necklace made by London jeweler Lara Jenkins.

The narrative follows Abbey Clancy to a gig, who, according to Vauxhall, in real-life has been a secret groupie for years, following her brother John Clancy around the country where he performs with his indie band The Razz as leas singer and rhythm guitarist.

According to its creator, the short clip captures the fictional, aspiring band called The Vauxhalls preparing for a late night gig in an unknown London location. As the band packs up and gets in the car, Clancy drives them through London’s nightlife to the venue.

Inspired by agile parkour athletes who negotiate urban spaces, the car features a state-of-the-art Intellilink infotainment system which plays the film’s soundtrack, “Heart Is a Beating Drum” by renowned rock duo The Kills (Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart) and a full-length electric folding canvas roof to embrace the open air.
