Vauxhall Vivaro Gets More Equipment for Less Money

Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles has decided to make a number of improvements to its Vivaro range, as customers will receive enhanced safety and value for money while the cost of ownership has been lowered. Furthermore, service intervals on all Vivaro models have been extended from 18,000 to 20,000 miles.

Taking the Vivaro Sportive model, for example, the vehicle now comes with over £700 of extra features for a list price increase of just £250.

Standard equipment on the Sportive now includes 16-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, front fog lights, Radio CD with Bluetooth connection and body-coloured rear light clusters and mirror housings.  A leather steering wheel, incorporating for the first time on Vivaro the new cruise control option, is also available.

The brand has also released two new option packs worth up to £1,175, which - for a limited time only - are available completely free of charge on all non-Sportive Panel Vans and Double Cabs.

Dubbed Plus Packs 1 or 2, they include features such as radio CD with Bluetooth, Remote Control Security Alarm System, Rear Parking Sensors, Electric Pack (mirrors and windows) and Air Conditioning.

All Vivaro models now have a new fascia and steering wheel, as well as a new infotainment system, while a new Steel Grey exterior option extends the colour range.

Safety wise, the range received a full steel bulkhead that is now standard, and for £50, a windowed version can be fitted. However, customers not requiring a full bulkhead can specify the full height steel driver’s guard instead, also for no extra cost.
