Vauxhall Supports Van Best Practice Program

The world of commercial vehicles is full of complex business plans that are aimed at increasing business efficiency. The automotive industry’s growing environmental concern has also generated new schemes that are aimed at reducing CO2 emissions for fleet vehicles.

The British government has introduced a special scheme that combines the aforementioned goals. Using the Van Best Practice name, the program allows van users to cut costs by improving efficiency in the operational, environmental and safety performance fields.

The program offers free advice to business clients on van transport management. Business managers are shown how to introduce small changes that can reduce transportation costs and lower CO2 emissions.

Van Best Practice offers free advice to businesses of all sizes on how they can change the way they run their vans to reduce fuel costs, running costs and CO2 emissions. By making small changes to everyday practice, van users can drive down costs and improve business performance,” stated the press release.

Now, Vauxhall’s Commercial Vehicles division announced that it is planning to support the scheme. The company will promote the Van Best Practice through its website and dedicated commercial vehicle customer magazine, the Wheels of Business.

Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles is very pleased to offer its support to Van Best Practice. We have always been keen to help businesses reduce costs and their impact on the environment. The numerous benefits of Van Best Practice to Vauxhall customers, from saving money to improving business performance and reducing C02emissions, are clear to see,” said Steve Bryant, Brand Manager, Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles.
