Vauxhall Movano Offers Free Equipment through Launch Pack

Last month, we reported the launch of the second generation Opel Movano light commercial vehicle. To celebrate the new vehicle's arrival on the UK market, Vauxhall (Opels are sold as Vauxhalls in the UK) has introduced a special free equipment pack for all new Movanos sold until July 31 this year.

The Launch Pack gives away optional extras such as air conditioning, a multi-function trip computer, vehicle alarm and Bluetooth connectivity, that would normally cost 1,400 pounds.

In the same cost moderation philosophy, Vauxhall is introducing a new entry level for the Movano: the Expression model is priced at 20,250 pounds, 1,410 pounds cheaper than the previously announced entry version of the Movano range, the L2H2 3300 panel van. However, the Expression version of the van will not be offered with the Launch Pack.

With the addition of the new Movano’s generous launch pack, Vauxhall is setting the standard for value in the highly competitive CV market,” said Andy Gilson, Vauxhall’s Marketing Director. “Add in class-leading running costs and support from one of the UK’s largest specialist retailer networks, and we’re sure that our customers will find that, for the new Movano, no job is too big.

The company claims that the new generation of the van offers users a cost saving of up to 24 percent over four years and 93,000 miles (150,000 km), when compared to previous Movanos. Spare and wear & tear components of the van have had their life span extended in order to reduce maintenance costs.
