One automaker seems to be lacking behind though. Opel/Vauxhall has been working with the Corsa for way to long and has chosen to make a facelift instead of launching an all-new model.

Corsa sales haven't exactly been booming, but there are a few exceptions. the Vauxhall Corsavan, a car sold in Britain with no rear glass or seats has been doing very well in 2013. The Luton automaker says demand has increased by about 25%.

The Corsavan boasts 550 kilograms of cargo volume. It also delivers excellent fuel economy through the 1.3-litre CDTi ecoFLEX engine equipped with Start/Stop. Official figures say it needs only one gallon of fuel fore ever 83 miles and emissions are remarkable low as well.
