Vauxhall Corsa Gets VXR Styling Range

As we informed you, the British labor union Unite is opposing Magna’s takeover bid for Opel/Vauxhall, as some leaked documents showed the Canadian - Austrian partsmaker would fire more than 1,000 workers in case it takes the controlling stake.

However, all that fuss and tension inside the company didn’t stop British carmaker Vauxhall from launching new styling packages for their customers. In fact, Vauxhall has just released the VXR styling range to ease the 3-door Corsa model makeover for its owners.

The newly launched Vauxhall VXR styling range is based upon the VXR race cars which compete in the British Touring Car Championship. The VX Racing team secured all three championship titles in the 2008 season – Drivers, Team and Manufacturers. Moreover, this year the British team is also on the first place in all the championships.

The racing stripes for the Vauxhall Corsa 3-door model can now be purchased from the local Vauxhall retailer for £150 fully fitted and including VAT. These stripes are available in black, white or silver.

Other available offers from the VXR styling range are a fully fitted rear roof spoiler priced at £299 or a set of 15-inch alloys from £369, again fully fitted by the experts at your local Vauxhall retailer.

Nevertheless, the job is fully done only if you get the whole kit. Therefore, Vauxhall also offers a VXR Styling Pack, which includes a rear roof spoiler, a rear lower skirt, a front lower spoiler and side sills, and that can be supplied and fitted for £1,399.
