Selling small cars that are getting a bit old, much like the Corsa, is a tricky business to say the least. However, Vauxhall has plenty of fans at home in Britain and they will surely enjoy the look of this, the latest special edition model.
It’s called the Black Edition and it looks like a batmobile subcompact - very serious and menacing, like a baby VXR.

The Black Edition also marks the introduction of a new engine to the Corsa range, a 1.4L Turbo which only has 120 horsepower but brings green credentials, thanks standard Start/Stop function. This engine will push the Corsa Black from 0 to 60 mph (98 km/h) in 9.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 121 mph (195 km/h).

Getting back to what makes this special edition so special, you get standard 17-inch wheels, a sharp looking body kit, tinted windows, sports seats, leather steering wheel, alloy pedals and a number of sporty interior accents.

Only 500 units of the Vauxhall Corsa Black Edition will be sold in Britain, with prices to start at £15,995 for the 3-door and £16,425 for the 5-door model.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
