Vauxhall Cascada Gets Priced in Britain

Vaxuhall has announced that the RHD version of the Cascada four-seater convertible will arrive in UK showrooms this April. Prices will start at £23,995, which is a lot for any Opel, but far cheaper than the equivalent BMW or Audi.

For that sort of money, you get the base SE model and a 1.4-liter turbo engine with 140 horsepower. It gets you to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 10.2 seconds and will be maxed out at 129 mph.

Other engine choices for the new Cascada include a 1.5-liter with 168bhp (170 PS) and two diesels: the 2.0 turbo with 165 PS and the newer 2.0 Bi-Turbo with 195 PS.

All entry level SE models get 18" alloy wheels, a sports chassis, LED tail lamps and aux-in/USB, all as standard.  The up-level Elite includes leather trim, heated front seats and steering wheel and front fog lamps.

The special section dedicated to the Cascada has just opened at vauxhall.co.uk, which is where you need to go to build your own dream convertible and get in touch with a dealer.
