Vaughn Gittin Presents All-Carbon Mustang

The Mustang is one of the favorite cars for most of the tuners at the SEMA Show, and if you’re visiting, you are in for a lot of approaches on this American legend. One of the most outstanding example in the Ford booth is Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s carbon fiber RTR-C Mustang.

It’s all carbon looks were not achieved by wrapping all the panels in plastic that looks like carbon. This car not only looks like the real deal, but actually is the real deal.

Carbon fiber is used in order to achieve a weight loss. According to the car’s creator, the lightweight material not only looks really cool, but saves about 200-250 kg. Unfortunately, some of the car’s weight is added back on because of the supercharger, the large brakes and headers. The car weighs a total of 1,522 kg, which is not bad at all.

The exterior is not the only one that got touched by carbon fiber. The Sparco seats are built from the same material. The rear seats have been taken out and replaced with a nice panel covered in leather. The level of building detail is very impressive for an American car. The attention to detail seems really good, especially because we’re talking about an US built and US modified Mustang.

If you’re thinking about getting one of these, Vaughn will only be selling a limited edition of just 10 RTR-C Mustangs. The price is rather scary, as one of these babies will set you back $135,000. Still, it’s one of the coolest Mustangs you’ll ever see.
