The vehicle’s straight line capabilities have now been brought to a 0-100 km/h time of 4 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph). The figures are the result of a €36,890 engine tuning package consisting of an optimized air intake, a new forced induction system, a specially developed exhaust system, all managed by a reprogrammed ECU and benefitting of advanced cooling.
But all that grunt needs some serious stopping power, which is provided by a set of six piston caliper brakes with 405 mm disks. Together with racing brake fluid and steel-flex pipes these components will set you back €8,082.
Lowering the car by 40mm (airmatic suspension) and making it ride on 20-inch rims with Vredestein high-performance winter tires cost another €1,952 respectively €7,378.
In order to maintain the speed through the corners, keep the car’s overall appearance intact or just look good you need the €3,188 aerodynamic tweaks : a carbon front lip and rear fins (fins that replace the rear diffusor) together with trunk and roof spoilers.
It’s all impressive but if we bought one we’d be quite frustrated about paying the extra €57,490 over the car’s standard price and having to live with the winter tires’ maximum allowed speed of only 270 km/h.
