VATH Mercedes E 350 CDI Unveiled

The German tuners at VATH Automobitechnik, a Mercedes-dedicated tuner, have unveiled their latest project, the VATH V35 E-Klasse, which is based on the Mercedes-Benz E 350 CDI model. The tuners have not only tweaked the engine power output, but they have also came up with a range of aerodynamic features to complete the package.

First off, the engine has been revised with a new software, increasing the power output of the VATH Mercedes E 350 CDI to 267 horsepower and 595 Nm of torque. This improvement will cost customers some EUR1,179.

However, for an additional EUR1,118, the VATH Mercedes E 350 CDI can also receive an aluminium air intercooler which enables even more power, raising the maximum output to 285 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.

There are also other features that can be offered with the VATH Mercedes E 350 CDI upgrade program, including new stainless steel exhaust pipes, priced at EUR822, flexible steel braking tubes and racing braking fluid (EUR465) and 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high performance Hankook tires (EUR7,900).

A coilover suspension is also available on the VATH Mercedes E 350 CDI for EUR2,954, which is adjustable not only in height, but also in hardness.

As said, the tuners have also made some exterior modifications to the Mercedes E 350 CDI, including a new carbon fiver front lip (EUR1,417), a carbon diffuser (EUR1,774), a black radiator grille (EUR798) and a tail spoiler lip (EUR334).

"The VATH V35 now is much more than only a luxurious transport means. The recent creation of the VATH Mercedes specialists is proving in an impressionating manner that they do not rest on their laurels,” the company brags in a statement.
