...since they introduced a tuning pack for the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 crossover. The same story applies here: you decided to buy a GLA 200 but now it feels a bit underpowered and that 1.6-liter diesel unit fails to tickle your fancy.
No worries, Vath is here with a power hike from 156 HP and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) to 184 HP and 310 Nm (229 lb-ft). Well, the car won't be able to take off or even compare to a sports car, but you'll definitely feel the power bump. It will take €850 ($919) out of your pockets, plus an additional €200 ($216) tax for mounting, but some might find that offer attractive. Some, not us.
Plus, there's a stainless steel exhaust system available for €1,690 ($1,828) and a €250 ($270) installing fee that will boost power by five to eight percent. Or at least, that's what Vath claims. Add a high-performance braking system to the equation, and there you have it, (almost) new car for you.
Besides performance upgrades, the tuners are also into cosmetic tweaks but don't jump for joy just yet. They only offer a new set of 18-inch black alloy wheels. All in all, Vath's tuning proposition will leave you without €4,644 ($5,025). But the question is, would you go for it? Or even more, is this solution worth it, or you would be better off with buying a more expensive but gifted version from the beginning?
