After we saw the beautiful GTRS4 wide body kit from Vorsteiner a while back, it seems like other tuners want a piece of this niche market. Leaving Liberty Walk aside for a moment, this time we’re going to focus on what the guys from Varis have to offer.
They have put together an alternative to those two offerings, one that is somewhere between the Vorsteiner offering and the Liberty Walk one in terms of aggressivity. It’s definitely not for anyone.
Up front, you’ll notice the new bumper that sports a host of changes compared to the stock one, even though they all seem to be just added on top. The air intakes now have carbon fiber add-ons on their upper sides while canards were added to both corners of the car, two on each side.
The bonnet was also changed with a carbon fiber one to match the roof probably while a massive air splitter made from the same material was attached to the bottom of the bumper.
On the sides, you’ll definitely notice the wider hips (meaning the front and rear fenders) as well as the carbon fiber side sills that are supposed to bring a small improvement in the aerodynamics department.
Round the back, the improvements continue with a new diffuser that sits flush, housing the four tailpipes of the car, along with a huge wing made by the guys from Studie Japan.
All in all, this is definitely a stunner, one that deserves our attention. The one problem we find with it is that it would be confined to the track as using it on a daily basis would probably be too much of a headache.
