We somehow find a bit of an educational side to the footage below, which is why we've decided to share the clip with you. We've seen burning supercars, Lamborghinis included, on many occasions before and, unfortunately, we'll probably see just as many in the future, but this Aventador's case happens to serve as an X-Ray for high-octane-related first world problems.
The story starts with your typical showoff valet, who decides to take the V12 Raging Bull for a spin. Witnesses, and there were tons of them, took to various social networks to talk about how the interim driver kept revving the 6.5-liter engine at the middle of the Lambo as he passed by a mall on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach's South Beach neighborhood.

The video only shows us the Lamborghini after its rear fascia had caught fire, but the important part is the one that follows.

Since Sant'Agata Bolognese have made a name for their poor visibility, the valet fails to notice the flaming rear end at first, with the crowd taking quite some time before warning the man about the situation.

As the guy starts fidgeting around the car, tons of people in the area pull out their smartphones and start recording, with some of them even appearing to attempt brief videoblogging moments.

After the spectators quench their thirst for Lamborghini blood, somebody finally brings a fire extinguisher, bringing the situation under control.

By that time, the flames had consumed a bit of the supercar, while the entire engine compartment had been flooded with the contents of the extinguisher.

As a result, the Aventador was pushed away from the place of its public abuse. Good thing the safety experts at the scene had everything timed in a way that ensured the inevitable explosion was far from happening and the car wasn't damaged in the process. The logical conclusion? Somebody should integrate fire extinguishers in smartphones.

We hear insurance people cringing as they reach for the "play" button below.
