Valencia’s Banega Loses Ferrari to Fire

Another day, another Ferrari fire. We know these cars are supposed to be unpredictable and wild, but having your six-figure investment turn to ash is not going to be pleasant for anybody. In fact it must be quite painful to watch!
This Ferrari 360 Modena belonged to Argentinian-born football player Ever Banega, who currently plays for Valencia as a mid-fielder. While he was driving the Italian stallion he had just bought, it caught fire yesterday on the roads near Valencia.

By the time the fire crews were able to put the fire out, there wasn’t much left, as all but the nose had burned to a crisp.

We’re tired of seeing Ferrari’s cars catch fires. Honestly, a BMW M3 will be much faster and more fun round a track, and will also be easier to live with on the road. Ever Banega should have just bought one of those and ignore his badge snobbery.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
