Some can just take an old battered car and gave it back part of its life. All it takes to do is to ditch the old engine, put a nice growling V8 under that hood and get rid of everything that weighs too much.
Japanese car customizer motorFix made such a driving machine out of an 80s Toyota Corolla KE70. Its inline-four engine got replaced by a 1UZ-FE V8 engine producing 265 hp and 360 Nm of torque. You might say that it’s not too much, but take another look and you will see that the interior has only one racing seat and a full roll cage. Everything else got right into the bin.
