Soldiers Dismantle Jeep, Reassemble It in 3 Minutes

Practice, practice, practice... How many war/army movies have you seen so far? One? Two? Forty five? Well, it doesn't really matter, because in almost every single one of them there is a scene where a bitter drill sergeant asks his soldiers to dismantle and reassemble an M16 or something as fast as possible. Some of us at autoevolution never understood how dismantling and putting back together a fire arm in 2 seconds can serve the war effort. Until we saw the below featured video, that is. Apparently, dexterity, memory and skill are the practices taught by our drill sergeant. Some of those drill sergeants however seem to take their teaching a bit to far. So far that this Army team for instance is capable of taking apart a Wyllis Jeep and put it back together in under four minutes, including the time needed to reach the scene. And we are not talking about a Wyllis Jeep conveniently located in an army garage, where state-of-the-art equipment is used to dismember the soldier's best friend. We are talking about eight soldiers who drive on a street somewhere in a Jeep, stop and start tearing it apart with their bear hands. Even if we are pretty sure the Jeep has arrived to the scene prepared for the stunt (we mean no nuts and bolts holding it in place), the achievement is no less remarkable. These guys break down the Jeep to its individual components (body, chassis, engine, driveshaft, axles and wheels), have a bit of spare time to stand by, then hustle to put it back together in the same calm, calculate, Lego style. UPDATE: One of our readers, maplesyrupm, is telling us that the amazing crew you see here is in fact Canadian Army, part of the 3 Area Support Group Technical Services Division from Halifax. OK, then...
