Updated 2012 Tata Nano Shown in New Ad

The Tata Nano didn’t prove out to be the wonder it was expected to become, so the Indian automotive producer is now introducing a facelift for the vehicle and leaving the pricing untouched.
The vehicle’s 624cc powerplant now delivers an “impressive” 38 hp and 51 Nm of torque (up from 25 hp and 48 Nm), but, despite this, the fuel efficiency has been increased by 7.6 percent. The Nano’s 600 kg kerb weight also allows the car to emit only 92.7 grams of CO2 per km.

The car now has a top speed of 105 km/h (65 mph) and can climb inclines with a gradeability of 30%, being a... are you ready? “perfect combination of power and performance”. The front suspension now uses an anti-roll bar, while the steering has been m,made even lighter. Stop laughing, we also have to tell you the Nano now comes with a ‘racier sounding exhaust”.

The interior features have been slightly updated, while customers can now choose between a new range of exterior colors, including Pearl White, Papaya Orange, Mojito Green, Sunshine Yellow, Meteor Silver and Champagne Gold.

The refreshed Nano is already available for sale in dealerships across India. Tata has even taken the time to release a commercial for the car. Prepare for Bollywood...
