Although Cadillac announced the changes planned for the 2015 Cadillac CTS back in May, it wasn’t until today that we are finally able to get our first official look at the updated sedan. With no surprises, Cadillac released a gallery of images and a full press release for the changes promised for the mid-size luxury sedan.
In just its sophomore season, the third-generation Cadillac CTS received a few notable upgrades, but the one we’ve been waiting to see is the application of the brand’s all-new wreathless logo. All of the previous wreath-and-crest logos on the car (grille, decklid, airbag, wheels, etc.) have been replaced, but aside from the emblems, it looks like the only pieces that were changed are limited to the front grille and the metallic rear decklid trim. Just for good measures, though, Cadillac did add two new exterior paint colors: Crystal White Tricoat and Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic.

Step inside the car, and you might notice the different Cadillac logo on the airbag, but there were actually many more changes made inside the sedan than on the outside. This is mainly related to technology, which sees a handful of new features inside the 2015 Cadillac CTS. New tech includes the optional Cadillac DockSpot wireless phone charger, GM’s widespread OnStar with 4G LTE data service, the capability for the automatic parking assist to help with perpendicular procedures and the addition of the lane keep assist and lane change alert functions as part of the optional Driver Awareness package. Cadillac CUE has been updated as well, and it now integrates text message alerts allowing users to hear incoming texts and respond hands-free using various preset messages.

The finally tweak made to the 2015 Cadillac CTS is to the interior packaging with new color and trim combinations with a total of six available two-tone interior layouts.
