The updated and improved 2013 Chevrolet Volt entered production this month and the manufacturer has already started spreading a few new examples around. However, they have not made a big thing out of this, and as a result, some people are already getting the improved car unknowingly.
According to greencarreports.com, over the next few months, more updated cars will make their way into dealer showrooms and into the hands of buyers, as Chevrolet wants to get the updated car into showrooms as soon as possible.

If you are looking to boy a Volt any time soon, the easiest way to differentiate the two is to check their efficiency sticker, as the updated car gets an all-electric range of 38 miles (61 km), whereas the old one gets 3 miles (4.8 km) less. We would advise prospective Volt buyers to shop around until they find an updated car, or, why not ask for a discount on the model without the updates.
