After Toyota revealed a facelift for its Aygo city car last year, the automaker has gone off on its own without the help of PSA and is working hard on the upcoming fourth generation city car. Recently revealed spyshots captured the heavy camouflaged vehicle being tested on a closed course.
Regardless of the deceiving wraps and added geometry that keeps the new styling cues hidden from our eyes, we can tell that the cheeky city car will maintain the size and general lines of the current model.

There is not much to say about the future Aygo styling, apart from its taillights, that seem to be mounted higher, judging from the holes in the camouflage. Also, we can tell that the car will keep the all-glass rear hatch that is fitted on the current model.

Breakdown statistics placed the Toyota Aygo at the top of the sub-small car class in respect to the reliability rates achieved for cars aged between 1 and 4 years. With a low fuel consumption and low buying prices, the Toyota Aygo makes a perfect choice for the urban environment.
