Ladies and gentlemen, we present you the first ever 2015 Cadillac Escalade boasting a Barbie pink exterior paint job. No, it's not Nicki Minaj's new daily driver, but a slice-of-life promo of the all-new luxury SUV.
Featuring former University of Louisville star quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and his mother, the ad is directed by renowned director Spike Lee and tells the story of a promise.

“When I was in third grade, I promised my mom I would get her a pink Cadillac Escalade,” said NFL Draftee Teddy Bridgewater said. “Pink is the color that represents breast cancer awareness, so I just want to get her that big pink Escalade truck and see that big smile on her face.”

Against all odds, Teddy's hard work paid off. The upcoming American football star managed to keep his promise, presenting the keys of the custom pink Caddy to his mom on Mother's Day.

Teddy is very fond of the woman that supported his first steps in American football. A mother of four and a breast cancer survivor, Rose Murphy has been an inspiration to Bridgewater and his teammates as well.

Commenting on the video he directed, Spike Lee said: “First class Mom, son, athlete, production and sponsor. I couldn’t be prouder to have helped Teddy live out his dream of giving his mother, Rose, her pink Escalade. I wish him all the success, on and off the field, as he goes into this next phase of his life.”

Scroll down and play the video to find out more on how Teddy fulfilled the promise to his mom.
