Unworthy Porsche 911 Turbo S Driver Leaves Car Meet Sideways, Has Offroad Crash

Porsche's popularity is reaching new heights nowadays, but 911s aren't for everybody. And we're here to give you an example of a Turbo S anti-hero, the kind of guy who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the steering wheel of a 560 hp Neunelfer.

The piece of footage at the bottom of the page allows us to see the unworthy driver leaving a car meet (u know, with the usual 90-degree turn) while fully on the throttle and with the PSM (Porsche Stability Management) on "snooze".

The rear-biased weight distribution and power delivery of the Porsche caused the rear end to step out, a move that could've been corrected with proper manhandling.

Alas, the driver panicked, jerking the steering wheel and sending the supercar all over the place. After missing the curb on the right side of the road in a luck-generated Formula Drift move, the man sent his 911 flying over the curb and into the grass-flooded incline on the left side of the street.

Going past the guy hitting the curb with his foot on the brake, we have to admit this is one lucky douchebag, as his offroading stint didn't total the car - you can see the Neunelfer returning to the road and disappearing into a bend a few moments later, as it it was a Cayenne Turbo S that had simply gone for a grass sandwich.

As for the luck mentioned in the paragraph above, a part of it is actually the brilliance of Zuffemhausen engineers, who gifted the 991 Turbo S with a ground clearance of 156 mm (6.14 inches), compensating for that with active aerodynamics (it's all explained in our Turbo S review).

And while the clip also shows the guy abusing the supercar on narrow streets before the accident, Ford fans will have to thank the man for demonstrating that when a car has a weak link between the steering wheel and a pedals, it doesn't matters if it's a Porsche or a Mustang (if you're not sure what we're on about, check out the second clip below).
