The car features a 2.7 m long wheelbase (upon which sits a Albert Ziegler body), is 2.15 m wide and has a turning cycle of 12.6 m. its firefighting capabilities are enhanced by the 2,500 liter water tank and the equipment box hidden behind it.
Water is directed to where is needed via a centrifugal fire pump with a capacity of 1,000 l/min at 10 bar and a maximum 1,800 l/min at 8 bar, powered by the vehicle's engine. Additionally, it features rapid intervention equipment and a foam mixing system.
The Unimog is equipped with differential locks at the front and rear and permanent all-wheel drive, making ideal for use in forest fires as well.
