If there is something about Mercedes-Benz's marketing in recent years which we have almost never actually loved, it's probably their “Mercedes-Benz Reporter” series.
Made specifically to target younger generations of future prospecting buyers or fans, such as millennials, we always found most of them to be a bit awkward and not exactly in tone with what the “youngins” these days would probably like.
Maybe that's just us, but the following video is actually a great example to show you guys why we're not fans of the “MB Reporter” web series.
A guy who obviously doesn't have a single clue about Mercedes-Benz as a car brand or any of its models is trying to explain us how cool is the new GLA 45 AMG and how elegant is the new C-Class W205.
The amount of unfunny jokes is maybe a bit too high from our point of view, but then again, it could be the fact that we're not the target audience and someone is actually going to laugh at the guy entering the GLA 45 AMG's trunk for an unspecified reason or at the solid info telling us that the M133 engine “tops out at 155 mph.”
