Underground Racing Tunes the Ferrari F430

Underground Racing is one of those tuning companies that likes to take already powerful supercars and make them even more powerful. This time, they applied their no-limits mentality to the Ferrari F430.

The Ferrari F430 now has 1000 horsepower, 510 hp more than stock. The massive amount of power comes thanks to twin-turbos bolted to the engine. That’s not the end of the story, as the tuners offer three power ratings for the Italian thoroughbred.

Stage 1 Turbo System with the Stock Engine, the 430 Spider gets 650 hp using regular gas and 800 hp on race fuel.

Stage 2 Turbo System with Modified Engine has 850 hp on regular gas and 1,150 hp on race fuel.

Stage 3 is highest level of Underground Racing’s F430 tuning package. The highly modified Race Version Turbo System produces a staggering 1,000 wheel horsepower normally and 1,350 hp on race fuel.

This amount of performance comes with a big pricetag however, with prices starting at around $49,000 (EUR35,000) for the first stage and $79,000 (EUR57,600) for the second stage to as high as $94,000 (EUR68,500) for the beefy stage 3. All kits come with a 2 year or 24,000 miles warranty included.

No exterior or interior modifications have been brought to the car, as the tuner has focused all of its attention on producing a world-class engine mod. With power that would rival any videogame car, who would even care about the high pricetag or lack of exterior changes. When the F430 leaves the factory, it comes with a 4,300 cc, 90° V8 engine that produces 490 horsepower with a specific output of 114 hp/liter.
