"The roads are tough," we might say, and without saying too much. There are so many things which can go wrong when riding a motorcycle or scooter, and experience, cool-minded awareness and anticipation, all backed by a dash of luck are key elements for making it back home in one piece.
However, every now and then, some of the variables in this complex equation seem to go amok: speeding riders, motorists running the red light, drunk drivers, jaywalkers, and vehicles cutting other vehicles off in all manners imaginable.
And when this happens, it's only down to the instincts, skills and experience to avoid accidents... which is definitely not the case with this fellow.
We almost knew the white car was about to cut off the incoming traffic and every rider in their own mid would have at least braked, if not braked hard and stop, taking a moment to choose which profanity sounded best for the occasion.
Unfortunately, the scooter rider does not seem to even see the car in front of him, at least until the violent collision. Hope he or she is alright...
