UK Survey Shows that Moms Enjoy Buying a Car

As society evolves, more and more prejudices are left behind, and the automotive market makes no exception form this rule: a recent study perfected in the UK shows that 60 percent of moms enjoy the whole car-buying experience.

This contradicts the popular belief that moms have a microscopic part in the process of purchasing a vehicle for the family. The study, conducted by Carmony, indicates that only 3 percent of the mothers surveyed consider that their husband should take care of the car shopping process.

Not only are women not intimidated by car acquiring, but they also use a rational approach when they have to choose a vehicle. The data indicates that 44 percent of moms place reliability at the top of their priority list when it comes to buying a car. The reliability criteria is closely followed by safety and practicality. So, saying the “cars are different because they come in multiple colors” belief usually attributed to women is false would be an understatement.

It’s a common misconception that women are intimidated by the car buying process, our research highlights that the majority of women do enjoy shopping for a car,” said Alan Hazelhurst, Managing Director, Carmony.

So the next time you're screening the market for a new car, you might want to share the experience with a woman. This way, you'll be sure that you have covered a wider range of approaches and therefore increase your changes of purchasing the perfect automotive creation for your budget. After you do that, just go out and buy the best handling coupe that you can find. Just kidding... why not the most powerful?
