The fastest no-turbo Porsche Cayenne has been revealed ahead of its official debut at the Beijing Auto Show. The brand new Cayenne GTS is powered by a revised 4.8-liter V8 engine, borrowed from the Cayenne S, but tickled into producing 420 horsepower.
The GTS sits 24 mm closer to the road than the regular SUV. The vehicle is also equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. What’s more, it positively shouts its sporty ambitions with a growling exhaust note and quickened shifting attitude.
Appearance-wise, the sporty V8 SUV model is festooned with a pronounced Turbo-like front end, together with gloss-black trim pieces.
Standard features include a SportDesign steering wheel with paddle-shift, sports exhaust system and Bi-Xenon headlights. The 2012 Cayenne GTS will be available in Britain starting July this year, with prices poised to start at BGP67,147.
