Ever since the first time we laid eyes on the Renault Twizy, we said it would be the perfect vehicle for pizza delivery - we still stand by that, and after driving it around Monaco, we began to like the little EV. Proof that others agree on its suitability as a delivery vehicle is the fact that the UK branch of Domino’s Pizza (in Swindon).
The Twizy will serve its purpose very well, and without emitting any noxious gases. It will deliver its steaming hot mozarella-covered bread and various toppings quickly and quietly, while also boosting the company’s image in the process.

The boss of the Swindon branch of Domino’s, said: "We are extremely happy with our Twizys as for us they are the perfect run around for delivering our piping hot pizzas quickly, responsibly and most importantly with minimal running costs [ . . . ] They are quite a head turner too, so it creates a great buzz for us as we like to do things differently."

We say these are just the first two Twizys to enter active service for Domino’s, and once they prove their worth, more will undoubtedly be ordered.
