As one of the veterans who have been riding along the Fast and Furious franchise, Tyrese Gibson was in Abu Dhabi recently promoting the DVD and Blu-ray release of Furious 7. If you’re willing to ignore the usual marketing “this is a tribute for Paul Walker” talk, you’ll find the rapper-turned-actor is quite ambitious about future movies.
We’re little under two years from seeing the eight installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, but that doesn’t mean the promotional scheme of Furious 7 has ended. No, we’re far from that point apparently. First we had Waze partnering up with Universal Pictures to give away some of those tapes to drivers around the U.S., and now, here we are, talking about the car-smash movie once again.

With a worldwide gross exceeding the $1.5 billion mark, Furious 7 is by far the most successful of them all, and we all know - even if we’re acting as if it’s not that - the death of Paul Walker had something to do with it. This is probably why all the actors keep mentioning their regretted fellow they commonly call “their brother.”

In a way, Walker was a bigger brother to all the petrolheads that fell in love with the aftermarket industry, but perhaps these actors really feel like that. Whatever the case may be, the grand success has convinced Tyrese Gibson that there’s no limit to the future cast anymore.

In a recent interview the actor took with Yahoo Movies, the Roman Pearce impersonator claims he would like the future installments of the saga to include actors such as Will Smith and Denzel Washington, but the way he says it makes you wonder if the franchise truly is that big.

Meanwhile, you can also check his call on where all the success comes from in the clip below.
