Two-Wheel Thunder to Rock Infineon Raceway

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) announced today the arrival of 'motorcycle madness" at the Infineon Raceway the day after Fool's Day, as the 5th edition of the now annual Two-Wheel Thunder event will take place there.

The show will kick off on April 1, with two-day test session for everal teams on the AMA Pro Road Racing circuit, in preparation for the West Coast Moto Jam, to be held at the same location on May 14-16.

Infineon will witness a one-day ticket offer for the aforementioned Moto Jam: those who buy a ticket on April 2 will get the chance to take a lap around the road course on their motorcycle, but only after the machine has been tested.

The AMA Pro Road Racing circuit teams to attend the event include Graves Yamaha, Yoshimura Suzuki and Jordan Suzuki, while among the drivers who confirmed their participation we can find Jake Zemke, Aaron Yates, Josh Herrin and Tommy Aquino.

Although yet not confirmed, a possible electric motorcycle demonstration may be featured in the event. If it will take place, the demonstration will be a prequel to the TTXGP US Championships, the first ever zero-carbon motorcycle race in the country. TTXGP will debut on July 24-26, at the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days and Infineon is one of the tracks to host the series.

Admission to the Two-Wheel Thunder event is free and will include an AMA rider Q&A session at lunch and Supermoto USA demonstrations.
