German tuner Carlsson decided back in 2010 that what Mercedes had to offer in the super-coupe segment simply wasn’t enough for them. And so, the CK65 RS was born into the world, sporting too much power and looks only individualists would love.
The biggest upgrade is under the bonnet, where the mighty AMG engine has been toned to produce up to 765 horsepower, which is 153 horsepower more than the standard CL65 AMG.
As you’d expect, that makes the performance... a bit scary, with an announced 0 to 100 km/h in no less than 3.8 seconds, and the top speed electronically limited... to 208 mph (that’s over 334 km/h).
These special editions are very exclusive and very elusive as a result. We’ve been able to track one in Dubai and it could be worth up to €400,000 (when it was new).
