When Ferrari replaced the 612 Scaglietti, they decided to completely change the grand tourer formula. Instead of a regular coupe body, they made it a shooting break to offer more cargo room and better headroom. They also changed it from a rear-drive car to an all-wheel drive one, though that's not the subject of our story.
JokeforBlog has just posted leaked sketches from the Euro Patent Register showing what appears to be a new version of the FF. It's got the same headlights, but instead of a big boot, it's now got the typical fastback coupe look at the back.
The trunk hatch is a wide design which seems to cover most of the C-arch, and the rear deck could have a wing attached. Also new are gills added to the hood and the front fenders, indicative a performance model.
Something about the Ferrari FF never quite screamed "I have lots of money", and this could be a nice fix of that problem.
