Folks over at Lisbon, Portugal-based Cool & Vintage shop have done it again. There’s something about these people, as every time you watch one of their video adverts, you literally feel like a kid in front of the candy shop. Their latest clip features two stunning ladies driving as fast as a bullet at the wheel of a beautiful 1961 MGA sportscar and we can't keep watching it.
We are all petrol heads even if not all of us have the passion for classic cars, but the chances you won’t like this one are as big as actually buying it. We are talking the cafe racer of your dreams, which not only offers style with every mile passing, but sounds as delightful as it looks. The small 1.8-liter engine comes with a manual 4-speed gearbox, fabulous suspension setup and impressive handling.
The MGA design dates back to 1951, when Morris Garages designer Syd Enever created a streamlined body for George Philips TD Le Mans car. As it was so different from the older MG models it was called the MGA, the “first of a new line” to quote the contemporary advertising. It was a body-on-frame design which used the straight-4 “B series” engine form the MG Magnette saloon driving the rear wheels through a 4-speed gearbox.
The 1961 MGA Cafe Racer you’ll see driving around in the video below is on sale for EUR 25,000 ($31,700) and we figured you might like to check it out.
