Twin Turbo Gallardo Hits 204 MPH at Houston Mile

If you want a car that’s ideal for hooning about in a massively long straight line, Underground Racing has got what you need. If you’ve got one of the latest Lamborghinis, even a Gallardo will do, than they can hook you up with an insane twin-turbo power kit that can push the engine performance way past the thousand horsepower mark.
So what do you do with such a car? Well, you go drag racing obviously! Brian from High Tech Corvette was recently at the Houston Mile, where this Underground Racing Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo made a 1/2 mile (0.8 km) lass at no less than 204 mph (328.31 km/h).

That’s a hugely impressive speed to reach in the same sort of distance as you might travel between two red lights. Most cars can’t even achieve that sort of speed given a full runway. The Houston Mile is going to become a full mile (1.61 km) race, so look for some even more impressive figures to come from the Ellington airfield in Houston.
