Twin-Turbo Audi R8 RWS Has Rear Bumper Delete, Looks Badass

The Audi R8 RWS is the first rear-wheel-drive vehicle in the history of Ingolstadt since the four-ringed carmaker came under the VW umbrella back in the 60s. Nevertheless, with just 99 units set to be produced, this is a drop in the quattro AWD ocean. Then again, there are owners out there who feel the need to take their R8 RWS toys even further, perhaps with the help of a... twin-turbo kit.
Well, the Audi that brought us here is one of the only 320 examples to reach the North American market, while the car is the only unit to be dressed in Riviera Blue (a Porsche color), at least as far as that part of the world is concerned.

And the aficioando behind the wheel has decided to throw a pair of snails in the engine compartment, as you'll be able to notice in the Instagram posts at the bottom of the page.

Note that the posts come from Sheepey Race, the aftermarket developer that massaged the German supercar. Oh, and you might've seen the tuner's name on the wacky Lamborghini Huracan "rally car" build we discussed earlier this year.

Once we go past the pair of Precision Turbos that take the 5.2-liter V10 to new heights, we find the factory exit, as the specialist mentions.

At least for now, the mid-engined toy sticks to the rear bumper delete theme, so everybody can check out the TT setup - did you think that only Lamborghini owners are in love with the rear apron removal trick?

The stopping power of this Audi R8 RWS has also been upgrade, so it can match the beast's sprinting abilities. As such, the vehicle now features carbon-ceramic brakes, albeit with these being custom built using OEM parts.

PS: Make sure to use the swipe feature (where this is available) to enjoy the complete visual side of this go-fast tale.
